Ok kids, at 2016 hours tonight, I will officially be 3 weeks old. That's 21 days, 504 hours, or 30240 minutes old. (I'm already learning some simple math from grandma and grandpdawg smyth). I'm learning to sleep more at night, to ride in my car seat without hollering and crying like it's torture, to fill a diaper to the point of almost overflow, and I'm at least 7 pounds now thanks to my hearty appetite. Mom is still maintaining sanity with the help of grandmadawg smyth, but I'm getting better at entertaining myself when I'm all juiced up on milk and awake. (Oh yeah, mom learned that you can't drink caffine while you are breastfeeding, cause then it gets me all hot in the diaper and ready to rumble. So it's strictly decaf coffee and tea and cola from here on out). Yesterday I took a road trip to see mom's co-workers at EMS headquarters, and I got passed around the office and the EMS and Sheriff's Department Dispatch centers. They all knew me as Cletus the Fetus before I made my grand entrance 3 weeks ago, so I had to drop by the tell everyone 'what up.' Well, that's the news here from my HQ on Bellwood Road. G-Dawg, you are nosed like a real Smyth. Congrats. It's a very distinguishing feature to be proud of.
Cindydawg and I will most likely be visiting you this weekend and we are very excited. Cindydawg is going to help me set up my classroom this week. I am very excited. I got my class roster in the mail. Just be glad your name isn't Aahlexus....
